Powerful Performance Features

Under the hood of the Compass you’ll find a standard 2.4-liter I4 MultiAir® engine that produces 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque capability. You’ll get a standard 6-speed manual transmission, but you’ll have the option to pair your engine with the available 9-speed automatic transmission. You’ll be able to tow up to 2,000 lbs. when properly equipped.

When it comes to traction control, a front-wheel drivetrain is standard, but you’ll have the option to add on one of the available 4x4 systems. The available Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System provides you with the ability to choose from Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud, and Rock settings, which you can adjust depending on the terrain you’re traveling over.

Interior Cabin Comfort

You’ll have 126.7 cubic feet of passenger volume where you can comfortably seat up to five people. When all the seats are up you’re going to get 27.2 cubic feet of cargo volume, and when you fold down the 60/40 split-folding rear seats you’ll get up to 59.8 cubic feet of cargo room.

The standard dual-zone automatic temperature control system allows you and your front-row passenger to customize the temperature in your areas.

If you want to flood your interior cabin with sunlight you can add the available Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof, which stretches across the two rows of seats.

Interior Technology Features

The standard Uconnect® 4 with 7-Inch Display system features standard Bluetooth® Streaming Audio. Also standard is the Cluster 3.5-inch Black and White Driver Info Display, which shows your exterior temperature, fuel information, tire pressure monitoring, speed control, and warning messages.

You’ll have the option to add the available Uconnect® 4C NAV with an 8.4-inch intuitive touchscreen system, which includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. You can connect your smartphone and access your music, contacts, messages, and apps. This system also includes SiriusXM® All Access Package, navigation, and integrated voice command.

The available BeatsAudio™ Premium Sound System includes nine speakers with a 12-channel amplifier and a booming subwoofer.
